At the northest area of the archipelago, the Island of Príncipe provides excellent subaquatic moments. Focinho do Cão, Boné de Jóquei, Mosteiros, Gale and the Islet of Tinhosas are the areas to be visited. Although the divings are made in depth, 30-40m, they are not only for the qualified divers, unless the one at the Islet Tinhosas that is recommended only for advanced levels.

The diving in the Gale is known as one of the preatiest of this Island. But the one of Mosteiros is not less pretty and here the small caves are known by their multifaceted character.
Surrounding the Island of Príncipe, beyond the usual fish and cat sshurks, corvines, humpeds, tartutles, barracudas, wahoos, rays and morays of large dimensions, we can be surprised by the hammer sharks (in Tinhosas and Bone of Joquei).
